Our projects

Sport is part of the fabric of everyday life and provides a rich source of data.  Our interest lies in using

and developing statistical and machine learning techniques for analysing such data.  Topics of interest include:

• Bayesian modelling and data analysis
• Markov decision processes
• Models for count data
• Models for paired comparisons and ranked data
• Probabilistic prediction and forecasting
