School Research Administrator



As the School Research Administrator, I support researchers and research leaders across Newcastle University Business School. I also promote the development and implementation of policy and strategy to maximise research outcomes for multiple agendas. The main aspects of my role are:

  • Delivery of the school’s research strategy

  • Coordination of the school’s research administration team

  • Supporting REF preparations, policy and process development, and activities and initiatives that support a quality research environment

Supporting the delivery of the School and University’s research strategy involves close coordination with colleagues and teams, including: the University Research Office, Research Enterprise Service, Research Funding Development Managers, Research Impact Officers and academics.


Additional Roles

Deputy Chair of the Professional Services Staff Network for Newcastle University (NU) Women. 



Since moving to northeast England in 2007, I have held various strategic project and initiative delivery roles. Working in NHS and Higher Education research support since 2009 has given me extensive experience in project management, process review, mentoring and coaching.
