"Divided Cities II Culture, Infrastructure and the Urban Future" at Oxford University

Stephen Graham, Professor of Cities and Society, delivered his keynote speech on Vertical Noir: Histories of the Future in Urban Science Fiction at Oxford University on the 3rd November.  The speech formed part of the British Council US and TORCH-funded workshop Divided Cities II, Infrastructure and the Urban Future.

The event set out to explore how various kinds of cultural production, from literary writing to visual art, responds to the divided city in the 21st century, asking how they might also allow us to think through more inclusive and desegregated urban futures.
